Automated Ceiling Registers (ACR) is very pleased to announce a version of the Quick & Easy [TM] (Q&E) register system that is designed for use in light commercial applications.  A data sheet is attached comparing this new product to conventional commercial metal diffusers.  The standard Q&E register is mounted on a twenty four inch square metal mounting plate that is powder-coated in a matte finish to match the Q&E register.  A fiberglass insulation batt, with vapor barrier, is provided on the backside of the mounting plate.  The plate contains an eight inch collar that supports both flexible and rigid duct applications.  All of the features of the standard Q&E residential product are included in the new commercial product including:
  • Made in the USA;
  • A modern look that blends well with any office decor;
  • Will not rust or rattle;
  • Rugged long-life adjustment mechanism;
  • Totally quiet when closed;
  • Full 360 degree air distribution that eliminates drafts;
  • Wide range of airflow (temperature) control;
  • Smooth valve seat that is easily cleaned;
  • Matte finish that may be painted or stained;
  • Motorized (automated) version that may be controlled by a variety of means including wireless; and
  • Fully compatible with ACR's zoning equipment, including complementary airflow control.

The new product is packaged one per carton.  It comes ready to be dropped into a standard twenty four inch square ceiling grid.  The only other installation step is to connect the supply duct and any needed reducers.  The product is a truly a continuation of the Quick & Easy [TM] concept in HVAC products.
